Sophany · Search & Visibility

How the engine works.

The engine is the pipeline behind our Search & Visibility line: it starts from data, decides what to write, publishes and measures. Fixed steps and quality checks, not a hunch. And we test it on ourselves first, in public.

It starts from data, not opinions

The engine looks at what your customers search, what the AIs answer today and who gets cited instead of you. From there it decides what to write. It writes, checks, publishes. Then it measures and starts again, until the numbers move.

Fixed steps, with checks

Every piece of content goes through the same steps, always in the same order: analysis, writing, validation, publishing, measurement. At each step there's an automatic quality check. If something doesn't hold up, it doesn't go live.

That's what we mean by «deterministic»: the less it depends on inspiration in the moment, the more the result is repeatable.

Measurement is the product

Publishing isn't enough: you need to know whether it worked. Every month we re-measure your visibility in AI answers and on Google, with the same method. And we write beforehand what we expect, with what probability and when we'll check it.

If a prediction turns out wrong, it stays written down. That's how you actually learn, instead of rewriting the story afterwards.

The case study is us

The most honest way to prove a method is to use it on yourself, in public. That's what we're doing with Sophany.

Today we start from zero: when someone searches our category, the AIs don't cite us. That's our starting line, and we keep it visible, even when the numbers don't prove us right.

Our public bets

The same predictions we write for clients, we write on ourselves. Each has a goal, a stated probability and a verification date. They're open: we'll update them here as we go, even when they prove us wrong.

  • Get cited by at least one AI (Perplexity or Google AI Overview) on a category question — not on our own name — within 120 days of publishing. Starting point: zero citations.

    40%

Stated probability: 40% · Checked at 120 days

  • Reach at least 30 clicks a month from searches not tied to our name, within 90 days of the start. Starting point: essentially zero.

    50%

Stated probability: 50% · Checked at 90 days

  • Grow the sites that cite us, from a base of 8 to a more credible one, within 120 days and without buying links.

    50%

Stated probability: 50% · Checked at 120 days

These are bets, not results. We'll get some wrong: that's part of the method. What we promise is to keep them visible and check them on the date we wrote down.
